DIY: TRIPLE MINT LIP BALM:

• 1 1/2 Tbsp beeswax pellets
• 1 Tbsp Shea butter
• 1 Tbsp cocoa butter
• 1 Tbsp cold-pressed, organic coconut oil
• 1 Tbsp sweet almond oil
• 12 drops Peppermint essential oil
• 12 drops Wintergreen essential oil
• 6 drops Spearmint essential oil
• 1 Tbsp of castor oil (optional, but increases shine!)
• 1/4 teaspoon Savvy Minerals Diamond Dust (optional, but increases shine and sparkle!)
• Medicine dropper or disposable plastic pipette

1. Using a double boiler (if you don't have one, you can simply set a glass Pyrex dish over a sauce pan filled with water), melt the cocoa butter, Shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil over medium heat. Also add castor oil if you are putting that in your recipe. DO NOT BOIL! Stir until all is melted together.
2. Turn off the heat and quickly whisk int he sweet almond oil. Let it cool slightly, but don't allow it to harden.
3. Mix in Young Living essential oils.
4. Quickly mix in Savvy Minerals Diamond Dust. (If you are adding this to your recipe).
5. Use medicine dropper or pipette to pour mixture into lip balm tubes or tins (we have put links below for both!) TIP: Wrap a rubber band around all of the lip balm tubes to hold them together and keep them upright. This makes it easier to pour the mixture inside the tubes to solidify.
6. Once the mixture begins to harden (approximately 5 minutes), place caps or lids on tubes/tins. Let tubes or tins sit overnight to harden.
7. DOUBLE or TRIPLE your batch and make for your friends and family! These make the best gifts!
